I was born and raised in Elliot Lake and totally enjoyed my childhood there. It gave me a storng sense of community and I have made lifelong friends, who I am still in touch with today, 12 years after we graduated high school. Hi, this is a nice site, I enjoyed it. I don't live in Elliott Lake, but my family has a house there, and I really enjoy it when we go up. The air is fresh, and there's a lot of things to do. Just one suggestion for this site: consider frames. It's more organized & easier to find links. The drop-down menu is also convenient but I think frames would be a good option. Anyways, keep up the great work, *cya!*

If all the senior citizens who go to Florida each winter were to reside at Hillside Park Retirement Home, they would enjoy living up North so much they wouldn't want to fly south for the winter!! Call Hillside Park for a tour today! You'll love it up North; we keep active year-round!

I lived in elliot lake for 7 years on tokyo street when i was little and would like to see what the street looks like.I also went to bois-joli for a few years and would like to see that school.Its a great site and im going to recommand it to my family and people who used to live ther like me .

Just found your website,my first contact with Elliot Lake for 40 years. In those days,Im sure you wouldnt have recognised the place-it was a fast developing mining town. I worked for a Rio Tinto mine called Algom Nordic as a blaster and still have fond memories of working sometimes 16 hour shifts,sometimes for 7 days.Memories no doubt are better than the real thing in this case! The main bunkhouse complex was near the Lake-great food,I still remember those flapjacks with maple syrupAND as much as you could eat,also raw onions were very popular. The town,complete with Hudsons Bay Store,was maybe half a mile away. The area was especially beautiful in autumn and winter-all in all agreat adventure. Best regards from Australia---- Mike.
